At Tampa Bay Lending Service, Inc. (TBLS), your personal privacy and the security of your personal information are our primary concern. Brokering mortgage loans involves communicating personal and financial information, and we understand the need for a safe and secure environment in which to share this information. TBLS is committed to providing its clients the highest level of confidentiality allowed by state and federal laws.  All employees are trained according to State and Federal Privacy of Information Guidelines.

Information we collect. When completing an application with TBLS in writing, over the telephone, through electronic mail, facsmile or through our website,  your name and other identifying information will not be sold or shared with any person or organizations not associated with us or actively involved in conducting the business of obtaining a mortgage or for obtaining credit information for the purpose of qualifying you for one of our loan products.
  
How your information is used. When you request to be pre-qualified for a mortgage or complete a loan application., you may be asked to provide certain private information, including your name, phone number, social security number, electronic mail address, income and other financial information and account numbers. The information that you provide to us may be  processed electronically, verbally, via facsmile and through general and overnight mail delivery. You will also be signing a  Release of Information, whereby agents and business partners, will receive information on you for the sole purpose of obtaining a mortgage.  This information is used to determine which mortgage loan product we can provide to you. During the pre-qualification or application process, we  also collect credit information from the three national credit-reporting agencies which will be used to determine your qualification status (Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union).  During the course of the loan application, property value information from accredited appraisal companies, automated valuation systems or public tax records will also be obtained by TBLS. We may also contact employers, financial institutions and trades people to verify the information you provided on your loan application.  Underwriting of loan applications may be electronically processed with select lenders and corporate partners of Tampa Bay Lending Services, Inc..  Please contact our office for a complete list of the agencies involved in the processing of your loan and where to obtain information on how to find obtain their Privacy Policies.

Use and distribution. Tampa Bay Lending Services, Inc. may from time to time mail or electronically mail you newsletters, community events calendars, and product information and special interest rate notifications.  We do not share or sell your information with other individuals or businesses.  If you would like to be removed from our general mailing list, please contact our office at 813-639-0200.

Storage of Information.  Your information is stored at the Tampa Bay Lending Services Corporate Office at 5420 Bay Center Dr., Suite 116, Tampa, FL 33609 or appointed agent, in compliance with State and Federal laws for paper file and electronic file storage. 

Deleting your information. Federal and state regulations require that we store completed loan requests for various periods of time. In order to comply with these regulations, we cannot delete information from our databases, even for pre-qualification or withdrawn loan application. All information is stored in accordance with state and federal regulations. 

Opt Out:  Because the timeliness of processing your loan to meet closing deadlines is of the utmost importance to TBLS, please contact us at our earliest convenience if you chose to discontinue your loan based on our Privacy Statement.  To opt out, you may call our office at 813-639-0200, email us at opt-out@tblendingservices.com and state you want to discontinue your application based on your review of the privacy policy.
